Not often, one bumps into a group where practically all members have different musical and cultural backgrounds. The Amsterdam-based Jerboah is such a group. Three of these six multi-instrumentalists play recorders. This, together with vocals, electric guitar, synthesizer and drums, results in wondrous art-rock. Wow! Got here via several mentions in the Big Big Train FB group. Glad I made the trip. I remember being equal parts intrigued and puzzled by Kate Bush on first exposure and this so much brings to mind the drama and theatricality mixed with great talent that made me a fan of Kate Bush. I can say that I am now a fan of Beatrix Players.
